The Manilatown Internship Program offers students an opportunity to get an in-depth learning experience at the I-Hotel Manilatown Center, through workshops, special projects, and volunteering. Through hands-on community service, the Manilatown Internship Program aims to promote critical thinking, agency, and community involvement, in Filipino American and Asian American histories, cultures, arts, and community issues.

Program: Interns will complete a minimum of 6 hours, including, but not limited to:

  • I-Hotel History Tour (1 hour/ required)
  • Workshops (1 hour each/ 2 required)
  • Volunteering 
  • Digital Archives
  • Films
  • Special Projects

*This program is open to all individuals; interns do not need to be enrolled in school.
